'Form'
Using one brands visual language on a alternate product!
The challenge was to design a computer mouse, model it to a high degree and articulate a visual language for the product. To do this, numerous sketches and iterative sketch models were produced to develop and refine the design to clearly communicate the solution.

Form - Examine the visual language of the brand Leica. Define its key characteristics and explore how this language could be applied to the overall form and detailing of the computer mouse.

Function - A concept was selected and several iterative sketch models were produced, each assessing the adherence to the predefined visual language, ergonomic quality and
technical feasibility.

The object’s form and function was critically evaluated and continually refined through analysis and testing of iterative sketch models.
Optimised the design solution, down to the last detail, in terms of its
visual language, usability and technical feasibility.

The outcome was represented in a presentation foam model and in high
quality visuals conveying surface qualities and how it is to be used.

We give you The M-Lux computer mouse by Leica.
